Aban Marker Kabraji completed her studies from Karachi University in Pakistan and thereafter she studied at the University of London. She is a scientist and a biologist. She is well known for providing vital governance at the Asia Regional Office of International Union for Conservation of Nature in the capital city of Bangkok, Thailand. Under her designation, she looks after offices of 11 countries which has a staff of over 300 peoples and around 70 plus environmental initiatives.
She started her Association with the International Union for Conservation of Nature in 1988, when she joined their office in Pakistan. To date, she has gathered substantial experience of reaching an agreement with different governments. Besides IUCN, she has also co-chaired organizations like The Wildlife Trade Monitoring Network and on the advisory committee of India-Bangladesh water dialogue meeting.
She has worked day in and day out to achieve environment movement in Pakistan. She is working extensively to better health and education system in Pakistan. She has always maintained that she has no personal goals to achieve and want to spend her time on the field to change the things which need.
She in an interview said that she is an Asian persona first and then a Pakistani national. She is a workaholic and always asks her staff to maintain discipline in their work.
