Initially, Chandra Sekhar Yeleti served as an assistant director under the guidance of Gangaraju Gunnam for the movie named after Little Soldiers. Additionally, he has also directed the 10 episodes of the television serial known as Amrutham. This serial had won a positive response from the crowd as well as the industry. After he gained the relevant experience, he directed his debut movie which was, in turn, a low-budget film known as Aithe. As per the estimation, the investment was 1.5 crores and later made a box office collection of an amount greater than 6 crores. Consequently, in the year 2005, he directed another super hit movie titled as Anukokunda Oka Roju. His first two movies were produced by Gunnam Gangaraju. He bagged 2 awards for this movie namely Nandi award in the category of Best Screenplay Writer and another Nandi Award in the category of Second Best Feature movie.
Chandra’s other Telugu movies include Okkadunnadu, Prayanam, and Sahasam in the years 2007, 2009, and 2013 respectively. Again, his third movie named as Okkadunnadu was released with the production by Gunnam Gangaraju. His movie Sahasam was completely based on adventure theme. Later, in the year 2016, he directed the movie which was released in two languages i.e., Telugu as well as Malayalam having different titles such as Manamantha and Vismayam respectively. However, the movie made a good box office collection.
