Plíšková started competing in professional tennis at the junior’s level competition from the year 2005. After participating in several Junior competition’s she turned pro in 2009. Plíšková started her professional career on a high and in her first ever Grand Slam appearance at the 2010 Australian Open she managed to reach the semifinals. In the process, she also defeated the first seed Tímea Babos in their quarterfinal clash. In her Junior days, she managed to win the 2010 Aegon International tournament. She created a lot buzz after winning the Junior 2010 Wimbledon Championships in the event Girls' Singles. She defeated Sachie Ishizu to win the title.
Plíšková to date has won three doubles and one singles titles on the WTA tour. She has won eight doubles and nine singles titles on the ITF circuit in her 10 years of a career thus far. She reached her highest singles ranking of world number 58 in 2014 and reached the career high of rank 51 in the doubles rankings.
She holds a unique record of serving the most aces in a match on the WTA tour. She served as many as 31 aces in a second round match against the Olympic Gold medalist Mónica Puig at the 2016 Australian Open Grand Slam.
