Multitalented Tiwari started his career as a Singer, in 2003 he appeared in the movie “Sasura Bada Paise Wala” and that marked a turning point in Bhojpuri Cinema due to the humongous profits this film earned. He was also a participant on the season four of the famous reality show “Bigg Boss”. He has recorded various Albums and has featured in many superhit Bhojpuri films. He is one of the most sought after actor-singer of Bhojpuri cinema.
Tiwari forayed into Politics in 2009 by contesting elections from the Samajwadi Party. He was up against BJP firebrand leader Yogi Adityanath. Though, he knew that he will lose it but still was forced by the Samajwadi party to contest elections against him. He has always been concerned with the development of his constituency. He openly supported the Anti-Corruption hunger strike back in 2011. He after some rift with Samajwadi party joined Bhartiya Janta Party. He later contested the election in 2014 from North-East Lok Sabha constituency of New Delhi from the Bharatiya Janata Party and won. Looking at his work BJP decided to make him the face of Delhi and contested the Delhi MCD elections in 2017 using his face. He didn’t disappoint and gave BJP a thumping victory. He revived his party in Delhi and used his charisma to win the elections. After the election, he decided not to celebrate because of what happened a day before in Sukma. Many of our Jawans were lost their lives fighting against the terrorists.
Other than this, Tiwari is deeply interested in Cricket and supports a lot of young talent from his hometown Bihar. He played alongside Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly in club cricket. He along with Kirti Azad are up against the BCCI to give Bihar Cricket Association its recognition. He has decided to build a world class cricket stadium in his hometown Kaimur in Bihar.
