Rahul Bajaj was born on 10-06-1938 in India. He is an Indian Chairperson, Businessperson, Politician & Philanthropist.

Career

Rahul Bajaj is an Indian businessman, philanthropist, and politician. He is the CEO of Bajaj Group of Companies. Bajaj first completed his Honours in Economics from Delhi University. After that, he pursued Law from Bombay University. He then went on to complete his MBA from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
 
After completing his education the first job he got was the major responsibility of CEO of Bajaj Group in 1968. Under his lead, Bajaj Group saw a major turnover in the business and it became a big brand in automobiles. During the recession in early 2001, there was a great decline in the stock market. Also due to the merging of Honda with Hero Group, it got worsened. It was that time Bajaj launched Bajaj Pulsar. After automobiles, Bajaj target other markets too. He launched Bajaj Finance Group and Bajaj Home Appliances. He is also into steel and alloy manufacturing.
 
Bajaj became President of Confederation of Indian Industry in 1979 and then in 1999. He also became President of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturer. Bajaj was also the Chairman of Development Council for Automobiles and Allied Industry. Also from 1986 to 1989, he was the Chairman of Indian Airlines. He is also an executive panel of Indian School of Business. He still continues Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation Shiksha Mandal. In Pune, he also founded a multi-specialty hospital Ruby Hall Clinic.

Family Relatives and Relation

He has two sons Rajiv Bajaj and Sanjiv Bajaj who are in the management of the Bajaj Group. He is the grandson of Shri Jamnalal Bajaj who was Indian freedom fighter.
