Sanjay Gagnani completed his schooling from St. Joseph Convent School, Biliomora, a town located on the western coast in the state of Gujarat. Coming from the Sindhi family background, the actor is well versed with Sindhi, English, Hindi, Gujarati. The actor also speaks Marathi as he had done his Bachelors in Business Administration from Sinhgadh Institute Pune. He also has two diplomas – one in Mass Media from MET, Mumbai and another in Event Management from National Institute of Event Management, Pune.
After finishing his formal education in 2009, the actor appeared on small screen with serials on all major Hindi entertainment channels. He played the role of Thakur Suren Singh Bhadoria in Bairi Piya on Colors TV, played Ayush who had returned from the USA and planned to settle in India permanently in Hamari Devrani (Star Plus). Gagnani played the role of a spoilt brat who would cross any limits in order to achieve what he wants in life in Pyar Ka The End (on Bindaas) and played Veera in an episode based on the Tarun Tejpal molestation case in Halla Bol (on Bindaas). Besides these, the actor has given powerful performances in Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein, Savdhan India on Life Ok, Encounter and Aahat (Season 6) on Sony TV. The actor got more fame when he featured on & TV’s show Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls.
Apart from television, the actor has played short roles in three Bollywood movies – Anil Ballani’s Rakhtbeej (2012), Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine(2012) and Freedom (2014) directed by Vivek Agnihotri. He has also given splendid performances in short films like My First Million, Rose and Bad Throw which was the official selection at the Goa Film Festival, 2014. The actor was also seen in a Marathi movie Pinddaan (2016), a mystical love story, and was critically acclaimed.
The young and talented actor has also been the print model for some of India’s major brands like Wipro, HP, SIyaram, Park Hyat Resort and Spa, Goa, Britannia, HDFC Bank, Nescafe and Sukhwani Builders.
