Nakamura started his professional career in March 2002 by joining New Japan Pro Wrestling and quickly rose from ranks to be called "Super Rookie". His fan base grew with his magnificent skills, strength and speed. He is a tough campaigner to deal with in the ring. He will never be forgotten by his fans for the time he had at NJPW. He was crowned IGWP Championship thrice in his career and was the youngest recipient of this title. He was also adept in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). He is best known for his blistering strikes on his opponents along with submission holds and his hard-hitting style.
His magnetic aura and smash mouth offence have earned him the nickname “The King of Strong Style.” Over the years he has emerged as one of the leading wrestlers that Japan has produced. In the ring, he has faced the veterans like AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle for the World Championships round.
He has joined the illustrious family of WWE in 2016 and is currently employed with their blooming arena called as NXT.
