Zoa Morani started off her magical journey in Bollywood by assisting Farah Khan’s movie Om Shanti Om in 2007. This film also marked the debut of superstar Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. The reason why she worked as an assistant director was to learn the art of acting by watching legendary actors act behind the camera. Shahrukh was the one who helped her made her acting debut in Bollywood with a film titled Always Kabhi Kabhi which was produced under his production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. However, the movie receives negative reviews, nor did it made an impact at the box-office.
Though the movie failed, but her looks and performances certainly were noticed. The following year, she was seen in a film called Mastaan. Her last released Bollywood film was Bhaag Johny. She was cast opposite Kunal Khemu in this film. This movie too failed to make an impact at the box-office.
She is the daughter of the noted filmmaker, Karim Morani. His father has been accused in the 2G scam and is currently out on bail. His father also serves as the director of event management company called Cineyug Entertainment.
