Achala Sachdev’s twinkling of eyes and smile just stole the several hearts of the people. She was an Indian Actress who well-known for her amazing acting in Bollywood films. She was born on 3rd May 1920 in Peshawar in the state of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. She started her career as a child artist and then she further worked in the role of mother and grandmother.

 

She was well recognized in the role of Balraj Sahni’s Wife in Waqt in 1965 grandmother in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995. She also worked in All India Radio in Lahore and also in Delhi. She started her career in the film industry from Fashionable Wife released in 1938.
