    Akshaye Khanna was born on 28th March 1975 in Mumbai, India. He is a phenomenal Indian film actor. He is son of famous Actor and Politician Vinod Khanna.

    Akshaye Khanna's few of the most famous films include Border, Taal, Dil Chahta Hai, Hulchul, and Race among others. He was lauded for his performance in movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz and Gandhi, My Father.

    He took his acting lessons from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai. Khanna made his debut in Bollywood in 1997 with the film titled Himalay Putra. His performance in his next release, Border, earned him several awards. Following year, he appeared in a movie titled Aa Ab Laut Chalen; though the film was a box-office failure, he was praised for his performance in this film.

    His next venture was Subhash Ghai's Taal, opposite Aishwarya Rai. The film was a huge box-office hit. Come 2001, Khanna starred in Farhan Akhtar's, Dil Chahta Hai. The film was a critical and commercial success and Khanna's performance was particularly praised. The superb actor then shifted into the category of comedy films with Priyadarshan's Hungama and Hulchul and both of them were a commercial success.

    After appearing in a series of unsuccessful box-office films like Aap Ki Khatir, Shaadi Se Pehle, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Gandhi, My Father, Mere Baap Pehle Aap and Naqaab, Khanna appeared in Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Race. This film was one of the biggest hits of 2008 and Khanna's performance as an antagonist won him a couple of awards. He then appeared in few more films but none of them could make much of an impact barring Tees Maar Khan. He was last seen in 2016 release Dishoom.
