Initially working as a radio jockey and modeling for ads Asif made his debut by Shyamaprasad’s Ritu. Few of his most appreciated roles have been in the movies,  Kadha Thudarunnu,  Best of Luck,  Ithu Nammude Katha, Salt N' Pepper,  Hi I'm Tony.  His one of the latest movies Anuraga Karikkin Vellam in 2016 became one of the Superhits of the year and was also honored with Best Star Pair for this movie. He also received the Special Jury for Best Actor for the movie Nirnayakam. He has worked in nearly 70 Malayalam films and is arguably one of the most respected star in Malayalam film industry. He was recently seen in Malayalam film titled Uyare and will be next seen in Under World and Parannu Parannu.

 

In addition to acting, he has also launched his own production house along with Sajin Jaffer called Adams World of Imagination. The first movie produced through his production house was Kohinoor. Other movies produced through his production house are Honey Bee 2, Kavi Uddheshichathu..?, Beautiful Game and Iblis among others. In his decade long career, he has earned arrey of awards such as Asianet Film Awards, Cera Vanitha Film Awards, and Toronto international South Asian film awards among others for his various films.
