He began wrestling at the age of seven and was encouraged to pursue the sport by his father. In 2015, his family moved to Sonepat for him to attend a regional centre of Sports Authority of India. Young Bajrang was determined to fulfil his father’s dream as his son would become the sports champion and may represent his country to win any medal for the nation. And for achieving this his father shifter to city Sonepat so his son Bajrang may do practising at regional centre [sports authority of india].
 
When Bajrang was 11 years old, he started to join Virendra's Akhara situated in Chara village and after he joined Bajrang Mahabali 'Satpal's Akhara' to polish and learn the wrestling skills and techniques. Bajrang used to dream high and wanted to meet the famous and experienced wrestlers and the although he got an opportunity to meet with yogeshwar Dutt who later on became the wrestling mentor of little Bajrang.
Bajrang fate was laying the foundation of his flourishing career in wrestling and due to the reason, the first time got represented India in 2013 Asian wrestling championships held in New Delhi (India), in which he lost his game against Hwang Ryong-hak to (3-1) under the 60 kg weight category(Freestyle). And in spite of that South Korean wrestler, Hwang Ryong-hak won the “Bronze Medal”.
 
In Budapest, Hungary, 2013 World Wrestling Championships Bajrang was so fortunate to win ”the Bronze medal against the “Enkhsaikhany Nyam-Ochir by (9-2) under the 60 kg ( freestyle) weight category through the”repechage round”. In Glasgow, Scotland, 2014 Commonwealth Games, he won the silver medal against David Tremblay by (1-4) under the 61 kg ( freestyle) weight category. In Incheon, South Korea, 2014 Asian Games, he won the silver medal against Masoud Esmaeilpoorjouybari by (1-3) under the 61 kg ( freestyle) weight category.
 
In Astana, Kazakhstan, 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships, once again he faced the Irani wrestler Masoud Esmaeilpoorjouybari, and he won the silver medal by (1-3) under the 61 kg ( freestyle) weight category. In 2017,  New-Delhi, India Asian Wrestling Championship 2017  he was the rising star in that games in which he won a gold medal. In Gold Coast, Australia, 2018 Commonwealth Games he won the gold medal under 65 kg ( freestyle) weight category. In that game, he was so dominating over Kane Charig. His techniques and wrestling skills are beaten Wayles wrestler to win the gold medal.
 
On the August 19th, 2018 Asian Games. He knocked down Takatani Daichi by (11-8) to win the Gold medal under 65 kg ( freestyle) weight category.
