    Chandrapal Singh Yadav was born on 19-03-1959 in Dakor, Jalaun in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an Indian Politician.

    Chandrapal Singh Yadav is a noted Indian politician and was also a Lok Sabha member from the Jhansi constituency of Uttar Pradesh in India. He has also served as an MLA from Uttar Pradesh. He is highly educated and has done M.Sc. He is also M.A. in Geography, LL.B. from Gorakhpur University and also holds B.Ed. degree from Lucknow University, Uttar Pradesh.  He comes from an  Agriculturist background and has actively participated in public education programs. He has held rallies for programs focused on Dalits. In his rallies and speeches, he has totally opposed the practices of rationalism and superstitions. He served as an MLA from 1996-2001. In  2004, General elections, he got elected as an MP for Lok Sabha.
     
    In 2004, he served as a member of Committee on Energy, the Committee on Estimates. He also served as a member of the Committee of Local Area Development Programs.
     
    In the 2014 general elections, he contested on Samajwadi Party Ticked from the Jhansi constituency but was defeated by BJP’s candidate Uma Bharti.
     
    He along with 10 other members of the Samajwadi Party was nominated for Rajya Sabha in 2014. He is currently an MP from the upper house of the parliament.
