Before entering the acting profession she performed in her School Musical Productions. During the period of Crystal’s graduation, she had become the member of Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. However, she shifted to Chicago where she got a plethora of opportunities to work in local productions. Later, in 2008 she started appearing on big screens of Hollywood Film Industry. She performed brilliantly in the guest roles and gained huge popularities through CSI – Crime Scene Investigation, Rizzoli and Isles, CSI – NY, and The Hard Times of RJ Berger.

 

Consecutively, she got an opportunity to play the lead role of Alison Argent in the popular TV series Teen Wolf. She finally wanted to leave the series before Season 3B and her wish came true at the end of the season 3B. In the movie Skyline, she got a chance to play with the co-artists Donald Faison and Eric Balfour. She won the hearts of many American by her performance in the movies Stupid Love, Crazy, and also MTV’s Teen Wolf.

 

In the year 2013, she became extremely popular in the movie Crush along with the co-artist Lucas Till. Ultimately, her role in Teen Wolf as Marie Jeanne and Alison Argent has helped her to increase the net worth tremendously.  In the same year, she bagged the Young Hollywood Awards for the category Best Ensemble due to her excellent performance in Teen Wolf as Alison Argent.
