Dagmara Dominczyk is an actress and author. She attended Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama.
Her first stage appearance was in the play ‘Closer’ written by Patrick Marber. In 2000, she debuted film career with the movie ‘Keeping the Faith’. Subsequently, she played the role of Tania Asher in the movie Rock Star and Mercedes Iguanada in the film ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’. She portrayed the role of Caroline Bramble in the Broadway production of ‘Enchanted April’. She went on to appear in a several television series like ‘24’, ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Person of Interest’, ‘Suits’ among others. She was cast in the movie ‘Lonely Hearts’ alongside John Travolta. Dagmara was also the part of the film ‘Running With Scissors’ alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes. She was cast in the film titled, ‘Higher Ground’ directed by Vera Farmiga. She appeared alongside James Franco and Winona Ryder in the psychological thriller film ‘The Letter’. In 2013, she was cast in the movie ‘The Immigrant’ along with Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard. Her other stage roles include Rosamund Plinth in ‘The Violet Hour’ and Anna Bonaparte in ‘Golden Boy’.
She released her first novel ‘The Lullaby of Polish Girls’ in 2013.
