One of the finest American Film Producers and Social Media Magnates, Brunetti is specifically known for being the President of Trigger Street Labs, Kevin Spacey’s production house.
In the year 2001, only at the age of 28, he actually took an initiative and transmuted TriggerStreet.com which was then, just a static web page for Trigger Street Productions, into a proper website for amateur movie makers. Eventually, this platform paved the way for budding filmmakers all over the world to send in short films and screenplays for reviews from other people. It was a massive hit and in 2002, the website was resurrected as a social media platform like the ones we have today. This gave Brunetti the confidence to commence his journey as an independent producer.
He received his very first recognition as a co-producer for the movie “Beyond the Sea” in 2004. Shortly after, he produced “Mini’s First Time” in the year 2006 which enabled him to gain more exposure in his field. He also produced Bernard and Doris which even made it to the Emmy nominations. Being a hardcore Star Wars aficionado, he contributed to the production of Fanboys which was nothing but a Star Wars comedy. However, his first ever remarkable achievement was “Bringing Down the House” that made around $158 million worldwide with a production budget of just $35 million. Two of his greatest productions were “The Social Network” and “Captain Philips”.
Dana Brunetti and Kevin Spacey’s brilliant duo led to the release of our very favourite TV Series, “House of Cards”, that yielded phenomenal results. Brunetti has already had 2 major Emmy nominations for the producer of Outstanding Drama Series. It does not simply end there. In 2015, he gained the Academy Award nomination for Captain Phillips which was a huge success.
Other than his significant contribution to the television industry, he is also known for being passionate about aircraft's and on several occasions, he flew on the Concorde which used to be a British-French supersonic passenger jet airliner.
