Darshan Jariwala was born on 29-09-1958 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian Film Actor, Television Actor & Theatre Actor who best known for his work in Bollywood, Tamil and Gujarati films.

Darshan Jariwala Complete Bio & Career

Darshan Jariwala is one of the most noted theatre personality. In addition to theatre, he has worked on a range of television series and supporting actor’s role in films. Some of his famous Gujarati plays include Mulraj Mansion, Andhalo Pato, Patro Mitro, and Hatheli Per Baat Baaki among others. Besides Gujarati, he has also acted in famous Hindi plays like Uncle Samjho Karo and English play named Going Solo 2. Among all the roles that, he has played, his role in the famous Gujarati serial titled Narsinh Mehta will always be remembered.
 
He made his Hindi film debut by playing a brief role in the Hindi film Paagalpan in the year 2001. After which, he played supporting and character roles in numerous Hindi films such as Style, Guru, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Raajneeti, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, and Humshakals among various others. He has mostly played lead actor or actress’s father’s role in Hindi films. He recently made his Gujarati film debut with Abhishek Jain’s film titled Bey Yaar in the year 2014. He also owns a theatre production company named Leela Theatres. Among all the film roles that he has played, he has won the highest acclaim for his role of Mahatma Gandhi in the film Gandhi, My Father. He won National Award under the category of Best Supporting Actor.

He was born to a Bollywood actor Kishore Jariwala and veteran Gujarati actress Leela Jariwala. He is married to famous television actress Apara Mehta since 1981 and together the couple has a daughter named Khushali Jariwala. The couple though has parted their ways and has been living separately for years but are not officially divorced till now. The famous Bollywood actor Sanjeev Kumar was his Uncle.
