Giorgio Armani S.P.A. was founded by Giorgio Armani and is an Italian fashion house. The founder is a fashion designer, and he is mainly famous for his menswear collection. He was raised with his brother and sister in Piacenza which is located in Italy. Before he came into the fashion career, he studied medicine at the University of Milan’s Department of Medicine, and then he left the to join the army. When he worked at the Military Hospital at Verona, he attended shows which were held in the Arena. This is where he discovered he may change career paths. 
 
He worked at La Rinascente as a window dresser, and then he became a menswear seller. Then, he himself started to design menswear for the Nino Cerruti company. He worked for the company and also freelanced. In the year 1973, he opened a design office after being persuaded to by an architecture draftsman named Sergio Galeotti. He founded the Giorgio Armani Corporation in the year 1979. Its various products include haute couture, leather goods, clothing, shoes, watches, jewellery, accessories, cosmetics, and home interiors. Some of its labels are Giorgio Armani Prive, Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and AX| Armani Exchange. This company has a revenue of over 2.53 billion euros and is said to be the fastest growing fashion brand. 
 
The brand currently has around 60 boutiques, 122 Emporio Armani, and 13 Armani Junior stars which are spread out in various countries. It also has about 94 A/X Armani Exchange stores and a Giorgio Armani Accessori store. He was the first in the fashion world to ban models that had a body mass index of below 18 to wear his clothes.
