Imogen Poots is a 27-year old British actress born in London. Born in 1989 the gorgeous and extremely talented actress has been active since 2004. She is the daughter of Trevor Poots and Fiona Goodall. She also has a brother named Alex who is a model. Imogen initially wanted to be a veterinarian but abandoned the aspiration after she fainted in a live surgery. After clearing A-level with distinction in 2008, she joined Courtauld Institute of Arts. However, she deferred it to become an actress.
 
Poots made her on-screen debut with Casualty, a TV serial wherein she appeared only in one episode. Later she was cast in the movie, V for Vendetta but had a mute role. Initially, no one knew her but that changed when she was cast in 28 Weeks Later by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. She immediately gained recognition and performed in various films like Centurion, Cracks, and remake of Fright Night. She has been complimented with the remark that even though she isn't a trained actress she has learned it through practical apprenticeship.
 
In 2011, Imogen appeared in the advertisements of a perfume brand named Chloe. She then partnered with Sophia Cappola for fashion brand Marni and H&M. A year later she performed the role of a violinist in A Late Quartet. She then acted along with Jennifer Aniston and Cate Blanchet in She's Funny That Way and Knight of Cups respectively. She received a nomination for the Most Promising Newcomer for her role in 28 Weeks Later and even won the Best Supporting Actress in 2013 for The Look of Love.
