Rolf Jacob Sartorius is a well-known internet personality and an American singer. He came to fame with his lip-syncing videos. He started acting in musicals when he was 7 years old and loved to perform there. But he was bullied by people. He joined ‘Vine’ and posted the 1st video at the age of 11.The video was related to bullying and gave an anti-bullying message. The video was viral and he got recognized on social media platforms. He became famous for the app after posting videos regularly. His career actually took off when he joined Musical.ly. He became one of the favorite stars of the app with more than 14 million followers for his lip-syncing videos

 

With the fame he received, he had to face more bullying at schools. He changed 3 schools in a year as he was verbally pushed, attacked and teased by the fellow classmates. The social media came to rescue him. He started outgoing which he never used to. An independent record label signed him and his first single "Sweatshirt” was released in 2016.The song appeared on the US Billboard Hot 100 and on Canadian Hot 100. He performed this song during Magcon tour. Magcon tour is a tour where fans get an opportunity to see and talk with the internet celebrities. Business Insider predicted that he may become next Justin Bieber.

 

After finishing the tour, he released 2 more singles, "All My Friends" and "Hit or Miss"."Hit or Miss" debuted at number 72 in the United States. "All My Friends" was launched on his fourteenth birthday. He performed the song "All My Friends" in his next mini-tour in six different cities. He announced that he will be on ‘The Last Text World Tour’ performing in seven different countries to support his debut extended play The Last Text. His latest and 1st Christmas song ‘Cozy’ is released in December 2017.His extended plays ‘Left Me Hangin' was released in late 2017.He would perform at opening act for The Vamps in Night & Day Tour 2018.He was the ninth most searched musical celebrity artist in 2016.
