James Carpinello was born on August 13, 1975. An American film, television and Broadway actor who drew the national recognition through his presentations on the VH1 series of Tori Spelling. In the year 1990 Carpinello made his debut from musical by playing the character of Tony Manero in "Saturday Night Fever". This musical was based on 1997 John Travolta starrer film "Saturday Night Fever". He was, later on, played in musical "Hairspray" as a" Link Larkin", but eventually left the series before his first Broadway conducted in Seattle to shoot 2002 "The Great Raid". Matthew Morrison superseded him.
For her 3rd Broadway to be released, Carpinello was selected for Broadway's Xanadu musical. Similar to Saturday Night Fever, Xanadu is based on a film with the same name, Xanadu of the 1980s, which was starred by Olivia Newton-John and even Michael Beck as Sonny, the lead character for them Carpinello was selected. Because of a crack in his leg on three parts in the course of a rehearsal on June 12, 2007, Carpinello was compelled to go out of production mainly for 2-3 weeks before its planned launching on June 26, 2007, at the Helen Hayes Theater. The character of Sonny was played by Cheyenne Jackson on June 22, 2007; the launching of the musical was postponed until July 10, 2007.
Carpinello then performed the character of rocker Stacee Jaxx in the musical Rock of Ages at Broads Atkinson Theater. In the event the actor earlier performed outside Broadway, actor Will Swenson played the character of Jaxx, until Swenson was given the leading comic role of Berger, in the Broadway Production revival of HAIR. Carpinello takes over him before Rock of Ages starts out his performances on Broadway.
Carpinello made an appearance on episodes of the CBS tv show The Good Wife as detective Anthony Burton. He was the invitee of Season 4 of the American show In Plain Sight. He performed former soldier Joey in 'Mission Creep', the 3rd show of the crime drama Person of Interest, and came back for that character as the series drew to a close in June 2016. He is continual in the medical drama/criminal FOX, The Mob Doctor.
