Jordan Rodrigues is an Australian who is singing, dances, and acts. He is mainly known for being in Home and Away, Dance Academy, and The Fosters. Both of his parents are Malaysian, and he has two siblings. His early acting career started with playing Simba in the tour in Australia of The Lion King. Before this, he had never had a professional acting experience. For about two years, he had performances three times a week. After his role of acting, he started to train at Brent Street. He learned jazz, ballet, hip hop, drama, and singing. 

 

When he wanted to pursue acting, his agency got him many roles in commercials. He later auditioned for the part of Jai Fernandez in Home and Away. He got the part. After this movie, he was nominated for the Silver Logie for being Most Popular New Talent. He was in Blue Water High for one episode. Then, he was a cast member of the show Dance Academy. He played the character of Christian Reed. Four years later, he was in the mini-series called Better Man. From the year 2014 until the present, he has been on The Fosters. This show is an ABC family show. He plays the character of Mat. In the year 2015, he was in the movie Breaking Through playing the role of JJ. Some other appearances he has made are in Faking It in which he plays the character of Dylan better known as Shark Bait, Lady Bird in which he plays Miguel, and Camp in which he played the character of Greg. Lady Bird is the most recent movie he has been in, and it is in its post-production stage.
