Lena is a Malayalam films actress who is notably famous for her acting in the films. In the year 1998, she made her acting debut from the film Sneham which was directed by the ace director Jayaraaj. Additional her acting prestige of Lena through her incredible acting and played notable roles in the films such as   Koottu, Big B, Cocktail, Shantham,In Ghost House Inn,Khaddama,Bachelor Party,Spirit ( for spirit -She won the award of Best Supporting actress at Asianet Film Award),Happy Journey,Anegan (Tamil),Masterpiece and  Daddy Cool. Her recent super-duper hit film was Traffic.

 

She appeared in almost all the Southern languages movies and though she is fortunate to work with the superstars of the Southern cinema. She shared the silver screen along with the  Nimrat Kaur and Akshay Kumar for her most successful and hit film Airlift (Bollywood). Even she began her acting career through a lead female actress in the South films but despite passing time she is currently playing the supporting roles like a mother of main leads in the films. In her career, she was awarded by several prestigious awards for her outstanding acting in the film in almost since last 20 years.

 

Her breakthrough film was Ennu Ninte Moideen for that film she rose to fame and won the awards like Kerala Film Critics Association Awards, Vanitha Film Awards, Filmfare Awards South and 1st IIFA Utsavam for Best supporting actress. In the year 2005, she made her acting debut on Tv through the serial Omanathinkalpakshi which aired on  Asianet channel.
