Luv Sinha is an aspiring actor and son of renowned actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. Born in 1983, the 33-year old actor is following the footsteps of his father. Currently, he is struggling but under his father's guidance, he believes he can garner success. Luv's sister Sonakshi Sinha is a leading Bollywood star, as we all know. Luv also has a twin identical brother named Kush Sinha. He is the eldest of the three siblings and did his debut before his sister.

 

He debuted in 2010 through Sadiyaan which was based on a family's story during partition.  The movie starred Luv in the lead role along with Rekha, Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor and Javed Sheikh in supporting roles. Luv was even nominated for the Best Debut Male by Zee Cine Awards. While Luv was the lead in the film, both his siblings Sonakshi and Kush assisted the director. Sonakshi was also in charge of the costumes.

 

Even though, Luv did not receive any award for his debut performance, he was appreciated for his efforts. According to critics, it was the fresh faces of both the leads that made them see the film. They commended the actor's conviction for making the film watchable.

 

Recently he was in news because of the Twitter spat between Sonakshi Sinha and singer Armaan Malik over Justin Bieber show in which she had performed. He came in support of Sonakshi and got entangled in the war or words. He took a dig at Amaan and Armaan Malik and came to his younger sister's defence.

 

He joined the Indian National Congress (INC) in October 2020.
