Manasi Parekh Gohil obtained her graduate degree in Literature from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai. She studied theatre and dramatics from the famous “Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute”. She is also a well-trained singer in Indian classical music. She also emerged winner of the singing based reality shows Star Ya Rockstar in 2011.  She has also lent her voice for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s iconic film, Devdas.

 

She started her acting career with the television series Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi in 2004. She rose from ranks to become one of the most popular television actresses with her performance in p television series India Calling in 2005. After appearing in a series of television series, she finally made her silver screen debut with the Tamil romantic film titled Leelai in 2012. The move was well acclaimed and was a moderate hit at the box-office. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Yeh Kaisi Life Hain. Her role of Maya in the famous series Sumit Sambhal Lega became very famous among the television series viewers.

 

Off screen, she loves writing and traveling. She is an active blogger and her blogs are mostly focuses on poems and traveling.
