Bloomberg is the CEO and founder of Multinational Financial Services and Software Company named Bloomberg L.P. He formed his own venture in the year 1981 and was formally employed at Salomon Brothers. His business plan was totally based on providing the high-quality business information at a faster and secure way specifically in terms of graphs. The company also owns a radio channel in New York City. Bloomberg stepped down as CEO to pursue his career in Politics and served as the Mayor of New York City for three consecutive terms.He served as the 108th Mayor.

 

Bloomberg returned as CEO for his company at the end of the year 2014 after completing the tenure as a Mayor. He is currently the CEO of Bloomberg L.P. He was ranked as the 20th richest person in world and 11th richest in the US with revenue of $22 billion in 2012. This statistics went high and marked him as the 6th richest person in the United States with a net worth of $43.3 billion in the year 2015. As of now, he is the 14th richest person in the world with a net asset of $53 Billion.

 

In addition to business, he is also into politics. He was a Democratic before 2001. After that, he joined Republican Party but parted ways with them in 2007 and went independent. In 2018, he again got associated with the Democratic party. He is making inroads to try for 2020 Presidential election. He is also a licensed commercial Pilot.
