Michel Danino Complete Bio & Career
Michel Danino is a French-born Indian Author. Michel Danino was attracted towards Indian culture and literature at a very young age. He got influenced by the spirituality that is followed in India. He mainly got attracted towards yogis like Sri Aurobindo.
Danino left France in 1977 and shifted to India along with his wife. Before shifting to India, he was securing higher scientific studies in France. After shifting to India he participated in many activities like translating and publishing Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s works. He wrote many articles and books regarding the same.
His famous works were editing India’s Rebirth and India the Mother books. He even worked for preserving Nilgiri Hills as a volunteer. He had so much concern about Indian culture and heritage. He even was involved in International Forum for India’s Heritage to promote the value of Indian heritage to the whole world.
Currently, he is working as a guest professor in IIT Gandhinagar. He resided in Auroville of Tamil Nadu for few years. After which he lived in Nilgiri hills for another twenty years. He even received Indian citizenship and he got settled in Coimbatore. His work towards preserving Nilgiri hills was appreciable.
