Gurinder Kaur Kainth, popularly known as ‘Miss Pooja’, is a well known Punjabi singer and actress. She has sung many duet songs in Punjabi. She is a popular bhangra artist with the largest seller in both India and outside India. Her father encouraged her towards music and she started learning it when she was a just 5-year kid. She has completed her education in music. She perceived Master of Arts in music. She has also completed B.Ed in music. She attended Punjab University for her education.
She started working at Patel Public School as a music teacher. Later she started working in Punjabi and Bhangra industry with a stage name ‘Miss Pooja’. Duet song ‘Jaan Ton Piyari’ was her debut song as a singer and was released in 2006.The singer Darshan Khlea co-sang the song with her and Lal-Kamal gave music. The song got a good response from the audience.
Her second album ‘ Romantic Jatt’ was released in 2009.She along with Shinda Shonki recorded the super hit song ‘Pani Hoge Dhunge Johna Launa Chad Dehna’ in the album ’Pind Da Shingar’. She reached every household with a song ‘Ik Tere Karke’ from the album ‘Preet Brar’.  She is the singer who had sung the most number of songs with almost more than 100 male singers. She has worked in different music genres such as Pop, Bhangra, Hip-Hop and Religious music. She happened to be a queen of duets. Her continuous recording of the songs is the key to her success. She was featured in movies such as "Channa Sachi Muchi" etc. Her 3rd album "Jattitude" was released in 2012. 
She made her debut in Bollywood music industry with a song "Second Hand Jawani" for the movie ‘Cocktail’. The song was super hit. She also sang for ‘Housefull 3’ for the song "Malamaal" in 2016. She has received many prestigious awards for her work in the music industry. Baari Baari Barsi for Speed Records and Pasand for Saga Music is her latest work from the year 2017.
