    Mukesh Rawal was born in 1951 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He was an Indian Television Actor, Film Actor & Theatre Actor who was known for his work in Hindi/Gujarati movies & television series. His most rememberable role was in a television serial Ramayan of Ramanand Sagar as Vibhishana (brother of Ravana, king of Lanka).

    Mukesh Rawal was born and raised in Mumbai. He joined theatre while in college and became one of the most popular stars of Gujarati film industry. He came to limelight after he portrayed the role of Vibhisana in the iconic series Ramayan. Post that, he was seen in numerous Hindi series such as Hasratein, Aaha, and Beend Banoonga Aur Ghodi Chadunga. 

    In addition to television series, he has also acted in some of the most prolific Bollywood films as well. Some of his noted films include Zid, Auzaar, Lahoo Ke Do Rang, and Mritudata among others. He kept on acting even in his 60s and was last seen in Gujarati film Sathiyo Chalyo Khodaldham  which was released in 2014.

    Mukesh Rawal died at the age of 65. He found dead on the railway track between Kandivali & Borivali station, Mumbai. He was going for dubbing of a Gujarati movie. On 15-11-2016 during railway crossing, he had an accident with a train and he took his last breath.
