Pallavi Sharda is an Australian actress from Indian origin. She has worked in both Indian and Australian films. She attended Lowther Hall school in Essendon and obtained her academic scholarship. She later perceived her LLB and BA (Media & Communications) as well as Diploma in Modern Languages (French) from  University of Melbourne. She shifted to the city of dreams, Mumbai in 2010 for perceiving her career in arts. She started her career in Bollywood with Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan in 2010. She was seen in a cameo role in the film. Her next project was a comedic-drama movie ‘Dus Tola‘. She played a character of a village dance teacher in the film and though the movie didn’t do well, her performance was highly appreciated by the media. She worked in an Indo-American film ’Walkaway‘ in 2010. Her next Bollywood movie was ‘Love Breakups Zindagi‘.
 
She worked as a lead actress for the theatrical musical ‘Taj Express’. It was choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and directed by Shruti Merchant. She started her career in Australian films with comedy movie ‘Save Your Legs’ in 2013. She was then seen in Abhinav Kashyap's film Besharam. She was cast in a film based on true events, ‘Hawaizaada’ starring Mithun Chakraborty and Ayushmann Khurrana. She also worked in Indian Premier League 2016 as a presenter. She portrayed a role of a sex worker named ‘Gulabo’ in Vidya Balan starer ‘Begum Jaan’ in 2017. She was also seen in the Hollywood film titled ‘Lion’.
 
She is one of the board of advisers for a social entrepreneurship company ‘E-Kutir’ which is focused on improvement of Indians’ lives using 'base of pyramid' model. She has been regularly acting as a keynote speaker for Asia Literacy in Australia, women's empowerment in India and cross-cultural relations between two countries.
