Paul Clifton Anthony George is a popular American professional basketball player of National Basketball Association for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He used to play basketball with his sister. Lakers star Kobe Bryant was his idol. He attended Knight High School.He played for the Amateur Athletic Union’s Pump and Run.He led Knight to Golden League championship and received the Antelope Valley Press Player of the Year, the Golden League Most Valuable Player, and became Daily News 2007–08 All-Area Boys' basketball team's member.
 
He had a hard time initially being not considered as a major prospect by many colleges. Later he had a good response at Teiosha's Midnight Madness event held at Pepperdine University. He committed to Pepperdine in 2007. Later he de-committed and considered an offer from Fresno for greater playing time opportunities. He played for it for 2 years initially. He had shown a good game during the period. He was described as the most entertaining player in the West region and also ranked 8th in most entertaining players in college basketball list by Sports Illustrated. He later played in 2010 WAC Tournament.
 
In 2010, he decided to enter the 2010 NBA draft.He was selected as tenth overall by the Indiana Pacers. Pacers signed a contract with him. He started his NBA career with a game against the San Antonio Spurs. He continued playing with Indiana Pacers from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, he was exchanged for Domantas Sabonis and Victor Oladipo to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He made his debut with Thunder against New York Knicks scoring highest points from the team. He has shown excellent game for Thunder throughout his period with them.He has played 527 games in regular seasons and 27 playoff games with Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder together.
