Guardiola is a technically gifted and a creative midfielder. He best played while playing in a deep-lying role as a defensive midfielder. He spent major part of his football career playing for Barcelona Club.
 
Guardiola made a huge name for himself in the football world when he became part of the “Dream Team” of the club which won first European Cup for the club in 1992. Due to his sharp skills he was even chosen to captain the team from 1997-2001.
 
Joe showed his potential right from the beginning and was rightly referred to as one of the best footballers of his generation. He was rightly capped for forty seven times for Spain and in 1992 even won an Olympic Gold Medal.
 
Guardiola was a prized possession for Barcelona, after retiring as a professional player he joined in as the coach of Barcelona and in 2008 became their manager. In just four years as the in charge of the club, he won 14 trophies for the club which included all the major cups. He is regarded as one of the best managers in the world.
