He was an English Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist & the Founder of Fleetwood Mac, a British-American rock band established in 1967. He was also renowned as an English guitarist and for the "Blues Rock" genre of music.

Peter Green Complete Bio & Career

At the age of 15 years, Green professionally came into the music industry. He first time performed with the “Bobby Dennis and the Dominoes” band in bass guitar show. This band was famous for rock ‘n’ roll standards and pop chart covers, music. As “Hank Marvin” was his favorite guitarist. Therefore, the musician played “The shadows” song at midnight to give him tribute from his album “ Tribute Twan” in 1996.
 
Later on, he took part in rhythm and blues outfit, the muskrats band which is also known “The Tridents” where he played bass guitar. Due to his talent, he got selected as lead guitarist in “Peter B’s Looner’s” band by Peter Bardens who was also a renowned guitarist.
 
Peter rose to fame when he was invited for joining the three music concerts of the “John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers” band. By luck, one of these band’s members named “Chapton” left his position that permanently occupied by Green.
 
In the year of 1967, he started recording with the “John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers” band and released his first album “A Hard Road” which was liked by people. He also showed his compositions in it such as “The Supernatural” and “The Same Way” etcetera. By this period, he became popular with “The Green God” nickname.
 
Moreover, Green established his band with the name “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac featuring Jeremy Spencer”. In which, he involved Mick Fleetwood to play drums and Jeremy Spencer to play guitar. Within a month, they became famous and got a chance to perform in the “Windsor National Jazz and Blues Festival” in 1967.
 
Later on, Peter wrote more and more compositions for his band and released “Mr. Wonderful” and “Black Magic Woman” in 1968 at their studio album. His “Black Magic Woman” was most loved by individuals and ranked on the top position in charts. After this, his career reached the top on the peak and he released several compositions every year such as “Man of the World”, “Albatross”, “Blue James in Chicago”, “Oh Well” and so forth. Peter also recorded “The End of the Game” jam session.
 
After the long break, he initiated his work with Michael (brother) and signed the contract with Peter Vernon-Kell’s PVK Level and also highlighted in Fleetwood Mac’s “Tusk”. He gave a contribution to “The Visitor” album by Mick Fleetwood and their song “Rattlesnake Shake” had gained huge popularity. Henry Hadaway released a BBC Four documentary named “Man of the World” in 2009, in which he wrote about Peter Green’s life and the band “Peter Green and Friends”.

Green was their 4th child so they loved him a lot. Green took his early life education from the local school of his town. He had a great interest in music from an early age. Therefore, he learned to play guitar from his elder brother Michael at the age of 11 years.
