Prakruti Mishra was born to a musician father and hence her journey in the entertainment industry began at a very early age. She started her acting career as a child artist in Odia film titled Hari Bhai Harena in the year 2000. Post that, she was seen in numerous films as a child artist such as Sasughara Chalijibi, Sata Sure Bandha Ae Jibana, and Pagala Karichi Pauji Torohukul among others. She played her first lead role in the Odia film Omm in the year 2012. Since the, she has been a regular in Odia films and also won National Award for her performance in Odia film Hello Arsi in the year 2017. She has also made her Bollywood film debut through the film titled Kaun Kitne Paani Mein in the year 2015.
