Priti Sapru is a well-known actress from Bollywood and Punjabi Cine industry who was seen in many of the super hit movies of Bollywood. She went to St.Joseph's High School in Bombay for her schooling. She began her career at the very young age of 13 years. She appeared first time on screen in movie ‘Habari’. She has beautiful eyes which grabbed the attention of the audience. Her acting skills made her receive offers for the movies including Lawaris, Avtaar etc. She shared the screen with legendary actors of Bollywood including Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jitendra. She worked as a lead female actress in many Punjabi movies. She also worked in supporting roles in Hindi movies.
 
She pioneered the album activity with "Bhangra Gidda" in 1990.She is an innovative thinker. She also wrote the stories for movies like "Zameen –Asmaan" featuring Sanjay Dutt, Shashi Kapoor, Anita Raaj, Rekha etc. She continued with her work and turned to direction and production. She is the producer and director of Punjabi films like 'Qurbani Jatt Di'. Even the story was written by her. The movie did well at box office and the audience appreciated the movie.
