R. Ravimohan was a qualified engineer and Harvard Business School Alumni. He started his career at ICICI Ltd., where he was employed as a Project Appraisal. This was just the beginning as his career moved forward with Crisil.

 

Authority and freedom are the two words that incorporate Ravimohan. He was a far-sighted man with never-ending goals. When Crisil was yet to be a billion crore company, he dared his senior team to dream big. He included people from different walks of life and made them work beyond their personal capacity, and with sincere efforts of himself and his team made Crisil a globally recognized entity. He also contributed to the financial inclusion process in his capacity as a member of the Raghuram Rajan Committee on Financial Sector Reforms. He also worked as an executive director for Reliance Industries Limited.
