This handsome actor started his career in a Television show known as Bongo in the role of Ashu which was telecasted in the DD Channel. Consequently, he performed in various other shows such as lighthouse for children, Tarang, jadui Chirag, and ye hawayan. Later, in the year 2005, he got a chance to play the role of Tantya in Sai Baba. Nextly, he was lucky enough to get selected by Sagar Arts for the lead role in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. However, this helped him to earn the Best Actor award in ITA 2007 and Best Yogya Jodi with his co-star Mugdha Chapekar in 2007 Star Parivar Awards.

 

In the year 2008, Rajat Tokas got another opportunity from Sagar Arts to perform in a mega show as Veer. Ultimately, Sagar Arts elevated him and portrayed to the public in the best possible way. Tokas was then called by Ekta Kapoor to perform a parallel lead role as Robindo Ganguly in Tere Liye. After this, he played fantastic roles in Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein and Bandini.

 

The big time success for Rajat was when he got a chance to play the role of Emperor Akbar in Jodha Akbar. Moreover, the role of Kabir in the serial Nagin telecasted in colors channel is the latest role played by him i.e., in the year 2016. This paved way for series of awards namely Big Star Most Entertaining Television Actor, Star Guild Award for Best Actor and Boroplus Gold Award for Best Actor.
