Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is a qualified CA (Charted Accountant) and is among the noted investment traders in India. In addition to investment trader, he has also ventured into film production. He maintains a heavy portfolio of his own and is the owner of Asset Management Company called Rare Enterprises. He is regularly seen on business channels such as ET Now, CNBC and Zee Business among others and shares his views and opinions in investment strategies. He after completion of graduation from Sydenham College in Mumbai joined the CA course and became a Charted Accountant.

 

He serves as the Chairman of companies such as Hungama Digital Media Private Limited and Aptech Limited. He serves as the key member of Board of Directors in prestigious companies like Mid Day Multimedia Limited, NCC (Nagarjuna Construction Company) Limited, Prime Focus Limited and Praj Industries Limited among various others.

 

During the global recession in 2011, his stocks fell badly but he recovered all his losses within a year. Due to uncertainty in the stock market, he too has ventured into other areas. He entered into film production and produced films such as English Vinglish, Shamitabh and recently he produced the Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer film Ki & Ka.
