Richa Pallod was brought up in Bangalore where she completed her education also. She was very much inclined towards acting from a small age and tried her luck in Hindi Film Industry.

 

Richa Pallod got the opportunity in Famous Bollywood films, Lamhe in 1991 and Pardes in 1997 as a child actor. At the age of 16, she started doing Modelling and TV commercials. Richa has featured in more than 500 Commercials. She also featured in Falguni Pathak’s two music videos. 

 

In the year 2000, Richa flew to the south to have her first Film Debut in Telegu film, Nuvve Kavali. The film was a super hit and she too was praised. Her performance won her first  Filmfare Best Telegu actress in 2000. Richa even featured in few Tamil and Malayalam Films. As a lead heroine, Richa got the first Bollywood movie Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahe in 2002, which was a flop. She did low-budget movies in Hindi Cinema but none of them was successful. 

 

Richa took some time off from acting for a few years after she got married, but came back in 2015 with a supporting role in the Tamil film Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka.
