Roza Rana Complete Bio & Career

Born in Cuttack, India, Roza Rana struggled to find a passion in life until she discovered dance. Her family was very supportive of her interest and talent and eventually helped her realize her dream of becoming a dancer by backing her financially. However, Roza faced a personal tragedy that changed the course of her life and altered her career forever.

Her father's sudden death was hard on Roza and her family, but she didn't let that deter her from becoming a famous dancer. She practiced dance all the time, experimenting with every kind of dance she could find, including salsa, jazz, and classical. Eventually, she got the chance to compete on Boogie Woogie, a reality show about Indian dance. The Jeffery brothers served as judges, and she ended up winning the competition.

After she was eliminated, Javed Jaffery encouraged Roza to continue pursuing her dreams. In 2011, Roza was chosen to compete in Dance India Dance's Doubles with Rahul Shetty. Choreographer Geeta Kapoor and actor Mithun Chakraborty praised her stellar performances. In 2016, Roza participated in the first season of the Indian version of So You Think You Can Dance. It had a unique format where the contestants were divided into two groups: Street and Stage. As usual, Roza impressed Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis, and Bosco Martis week after week.
