Sreesanth is a famous former Indian Cricketer who was born on February 6, 1983, in Kothamangalam, Kerala, India with the full name Shanthakumaran Sreesanth.  


The right arm bowler, Sreesanth played for the first time in Indian Premier League being in the team of Rajasthan Royals. His bowling speed usually tends to be 142 kmph/88mph. He made his first-class debut in the match against Goa. Later, in the year 2006, he played the home series against England. Additionally, he won the Man of the Match award for his brilliant game in the final match conducted at Indore. He also took part in 2011 Cricket World Cup in place of Praveen Kumar. After which he got an opportunity to play for Warwickshire of the English season and signed a contract with them. His career came at standstill after he was charged with spot-fixing in 2013. He was banned by BCCI with immediate effect and since then haven't played any form of professional cricket. However, he fought with BCCI and got his name cleared from Kerala high court. His case is still in Supreme Court and is waiting for the verdict.  
Additionally, this fast-medium-pace bowler was seen in the TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – Season 7. He danced with an excellent choreographer Sneha Kapoor. Apart from being a great batsman, he has also appeared in the Malayalam movie – Team 5. As a matter of fact, he is also about to perform in his first Bollywood film – Aksar 2. This movie is directed by Anant Mahadevan in which he plays the role of lawyer along with the co-artists Gautam Rode and Zareen Khan.  The right-handed batsman, after his hope of playing for the country, diminished, he tried his hands in acting and acted in acclaimed Malayalam movie Team 5.
