    Sadogana Ramesh's was a bowler with left-handed batsman and right-arm spin bowler. In domestic cricket, He played for Tamil Nadu. Despite that, he also had played two seasons for Kerala and one season for Assam too.
    His Test average above 50 in the first six Tests. But the critics said that he could not turn an immeasurable start into a bigger score. Then came Sri Lanka tour Ramesh opened in the series of 3 Tests. Of these five innings, he was discovered to have scored 30 runs, but only once was the fifty. This gave rise to critics' arguments. Sadgopan Ramesh's Test debut against Pakistan on January 28, 1999. He played in the last Test against Sri Lanka in September 2001 after two years.
    In the Test, Ramesh played 19 matches. In this, he accumulated 1367 runs with 8 half-centuries and also 2 centuries by a batting avg of 37.97. Talking about ODIs, his career did not last long. On Mar 30, 1999, he made Debut against Sri Lanka. On 3 October 1999, he played his last international ODI  against South Africa. In ODIs, In 24 matches he made 646 runs by avg of 28. In ODI's, he had not a long-lasting career. In ODI's he scored six half-centuries and did not score any century. And 82 runs is his career-best in ODI's, he also took his only wicket. He is the only cricketer in the history of ODI's to take a wicket on his first ball of the career in ODI cricket.  West Indies  Mickson McLean was the batsman who was out on his ball.
