Sajid Nadiadwala was born on 18-02-1966 in Bandra, Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian Film Producer, Film Director, Screenwriter & Founder Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment who is well-known for his work in Bollywood film Industry.

He is a lawyer by education but started his professional career as a spot boy and soon graduated to become a production assistant in his uncle's production house. After taking enough experience he establishing his own production house called Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The production company has delivered many hits films including Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Kick, Housefull, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi amongst others.
His 2014 release Kick was an all-time blockbuster and was lauded by critics as well. He is well-known for his association with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar and has regularly cast them in his films. Salman Khan is also his best friend while Akshay is his brother’s good friend.

He was born to Sulieman Nadiadwala & Shafaqat Nadiadwala. Many of his relatives and family members including A. K. Nadiadwala and A. G. Nadiadwala were affluent film producers in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. His cousin, Firoz A. Nadiadwala is also a successful film producer.
He covertly married Bollywood via Divya Bharti in 1992. Their marriage was calamitously short-lived when Divya fell from her apartment to death in 1993. The situation surrounding her death was apprehensive but nothing was proved. Her death remains an enigma to date. It is supposed that her death was not a suicide but an intended one. Sajid when informed about this incident, he fainted. He has since the dedicated all his films to Divya's memory.
He then remarried to Wardha Khan in 2000, a former journalist. The couple is blessed with two sons named Subhan Nadiadwala & Sufyan Nadiadwala.
