Sana Saeed was first offered a child artist role in the Hindi film, Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke but she denied saying she needs to concentrate on her studies. She then was chosen out of 200 girls who auditioned for the role of Anjali in cult classic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hain. She was actually 9 years old when she portrayed the role of 8 years old Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hain. Anjali’s character was actually the life of the script and she played her role to perfection. She was then seen as a child artist in films like Badal and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega. She also served as the host of the popular kid's program called Fox Kids from 2011-2003. She then took a break from the industry to complete her studies.

 

She made her full-fledged silver screen debut with a supporting role in Karan Johar’s superhot film Student Of The Year in 2012. She was cast alongside a set of all new entrants like Alia Bhat, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra. She also did an item song in the film Fugly in 2014.

 

In addition to the silver screen, she has also performed on silver screen and made her debut with the famous SAB TV series called Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki in which she played the lead role of Pooja. She has participated as a contestant in various shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Nach Baliye, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. In the latter, she emerged 1st runner-up.
