    Subramaniam Badrinath was born on 30th August 1980 in Chennai, India. He is an Indian cricketer. He is a solid middle order batsman. In his illustrious cricketing career, he has represented India in all three formats of the game.

    Subramaniam Badrinath Complete Bio & Career

    A run-hungry, Badri(renowned by this name) started his cricketing career from Chennai and was a former captain of the Tamil Nadu Ranji side. He has been one of the steadiest performers on the domestic circuit, scoring runs at will. He first came into the national consideration in 2007 when he scored runs for India A on their tours to Kenya and Zimbabwe. He then scored a double hundred against the touring South African A side, after which the selectors selected him for the first 3 ODIs against Australia, but unfortunately, he just warmed the bench.
    He scored 659 runs at a healthy average of 65.90 in the 2007-08 season and kept banging on the doors of the Indian side. Eventually, he got a chance to make his ODI debut in Sri Lanka in 2008. He scored a match-winning 27 and took India home.
    Thereafter, Subramaniam Badrinath played 2 more ODIs in that series, before he being dropped from the team yet again. He was then selected for the Test team to play against Australia in 2008 but did not a game since middle-order was already packed. He though finally made his Test debut against the visiting South African Team in 2010. He played both the test of that series; however, even after a considerable performance, he was dropped.
    Despite the unjust dropping, Badrinath kept scoring in the domestic circuit and earned his way into the side for the 2011 tour of West Indies. He scored 43 and adjudged Man of the Match in the only T20 he has played till date.
