Born as Danielle Louise Moinet, Summer Rae is a popular model, professional wrestler, American football player, and actress from the United States. Summer Rae is her ring name from World Wrestling Entertainment. 

 

She attended East Carolina University. She represented Chicago Bliss in the Lingerie Football League. She also appeared in the LFL All-Star Game in June 2011. After she signed in to WWE, she was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling as a part of their developmental territory. Her first television appearance for the show happened with FCW TV in 2011. She was also a ring announcer. Further, she became the General Manager in FCW. However, after its dissolution, she became a ring announcer for another WWE Franchise called NXT. She turned to a competitor in January 2013. She also contended against Sasha Banks, Emma, and Paige for the NXT Women’s Championship title. 

 

She made her official debut in WWE where she was first seen in dance-off challenge in April 2013. However, her first in-ring and pay-per-view debut happened in a mixed tag team match at Hell in a Cell. Her first singles match in WWE Smackdown was against Natalya. Her win against Kaitlyn in Superstars was her first singles win in the WWE main roster. Her contract with WWE was ended on October 29, 2017, as a result of her inactivity.

 

She has appeared on WWE video games. Rae has also appeared on the television show ‘Total Divas’. She made her film debut with ‘The Marine 4: Moving Target’.
