Tamannaah Bhatia was born on 21-12-1989 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. She is an Indian Film Actress, Model & Dancer who best known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada & Marathi films.

Tamannah grew up in Mumbai and studied at the Manekji Cooper Trust School in Mumbai. She enrolled at the National College, Mumbai for graduation.
She started acting from the age of 13. While performing at an Annual function, she was spotted by a director and was offered a role in the Tamil film called Enakku 20 Unakku 18. Thus, she made her acting debut. She then worked in Prithvi Theatre for a year. She was first seen in the music video of Lafzo Me by Abhijeet Sawant in the year 2005.
She made her Bollywood debut with a lead role in the film called Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in 2005. She was just 15 when she played that role. She then made her Tamil & Telugu film debut as a lead actress and praised for her performance in Tamil & Telugu films.
She became a sensation in the south after acting in films like Kallori in Tamil and Happy Days in Telugu. Her performance in some of the other south Indian films like Padikkathavan, Ayan, Siruthai and Paiya established her as one of the most sought after actresses in South.
Though her Bollywood career hasn’t been the same. She has worked with stars like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan but the movies failed at the box-office. She garnered huge limelight after acting in S. S. Rajamouli's epic film Bahubali. She reduced around 5 to 6 kgs for her role in the film. The film earned her rave reviews. She was also the part of the sequel of this epic film called Baahubali: The Conclusion. Though, her role was very brief.
Besides performing on silver screen, she has also endorsed several products. To date, she has done over 50 films including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films.
