Trilok Kapoor is a renowned Indian film actor. We can easily find his family background by his name itself, that he belonged to the Kapoor family. He was a popular actor when Bollywood was still in the budding stage. He was mostly seen in Mythological movies of Bollywood.
Trilok did his schooling in his birthplace Peshawar which is currently in Pakistan. His first ever movie was Char Darvesh which was released in 1933. In 1954, he played the role of Lord Shiva in Ramayan which was directed by Vijay Bhatt. He acted in many historical and mythological movies. Trilok Kapoor and Nirupa Roy were acted in almost eighteen movies as Shiva and Parvathi. Their pair was very popular in Bollywood in those days.
In 1950 he acted in a movie HarHarMahadev, which brought him huge recognition. Trilok was later moved towards social and commercial movies. He even worked as an assistant to a famous director Hem Chandra.
At the time when mythological movies were of great popularity, Trilok Kapoor was lucky to get many opportunities. He is a brother of Prithviraj Kapoor and second child to Basheshwarnath Kapoor. For his career sake, he moved from Peshawar to Mumbai.
