Vicky Kaushal was born on 16-05-1988 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian Film Actor who known for his work in Bollywood films.

Career

Vicky has done his engineering in the branch of electronics and telecommunication in the year 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology that is located in Mumbai. Vicky was presented with a lot of job propositions but he refused all of them to step into the world of acting.
 
Before becoming a mainstream actor, he engrossed himself into theatre and various other acting workshops which were coordinated by Kishore NamitKapoor. Vicky then started taking up small roles in films like Bombay Velvet and Luv ShuvTey Chicken Khurana. He also did a short movie titled Geek Out which wasn’t well recognised.
 
A big gateway into the success he got from the film line was in 2010, when the famous director, AnuragKashyap made him his assistant for the movie Gangs of Wasseypur.Later that year Vicky scored an audition for Masaan because of his friend and colleague NeerajGhaywan. Vicky’s impressive audition secured him a position in Masaan which marked the beginning of his fame.
 
Masaan received lot of love and praises, Vicky was complemented by the whole of the film industry and the critics too. 
 
In March 2016, he played the lead role in a movie called Zubaan in which he was a very young lad who suffered from a speech disability.AnuragKashyap’s, Raman Raghav 2.0, was his next movie which was a thriller in which Vicky played the role of a psychotic cop addicted to drugs. 
 
Manmarziyan starring Vicky and singer turned actor Ayushman Khurana is his upcoming project.
