Vikas Sethi started off his professional career as a model. For his first modelling assignment, he received INR 10,000. He also appeared in some commercials during his modelling days. He finally made his cinematic debut with a minor role in Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza starrer film Deewanapan in 2001. After which, he played a minor role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He finally got his first lead role in Deepak Tijori’s film called Oops!. The film failed at the box-office and even received negative reviews. He was last seen in the Hindi film called Modh. 

 

Though his silver screen career has not been successful but this handsome hunk has nailed it on the small screen. He started his small screen career with the Television series called Dil Na Jane Kyun but immediately came to limelight after he joined the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.  

 

He garnered maximum limelight after portraying the role of Prem Bajaj in the super hit television series called Kasautii Zindagii Kay. His best performance came in the series Kahiin To Hoga. His performance as Swayam Shergill made him a household name. 

 

Besides acting, he has also participated in the dance reality show called Nach Baliye. He performed along with his Amita on the show.
